"There was always a great vibe"

'The LAE course exceeded my expectations. It suited people of all different levels of experience. George and the other tutors always had time to show you anything and answer any questions. There was also always a great vibe and I enjoyed all my time with everyone there.'

"I would recommend this course to anyone!"

'This is called an intensive course for a good reason, and has turned out to be the most rewarding time I have spent learning, with all the facilities at hand to simulate a live gig, Scala serves well as a learning environment.'

"The course has gone far beyond my expectations. It has completely changed my way of thinking about sound."

'Now I feel confident enough for running any gig covering almost all aspects, from wiring, mixing to mixing monitors or FOH. I'm pleased I can go back to Spain and not be intimidated by the 'pros' any more. I feel comfortable on stage as I now know what to do and how to do it. I just have good words to describe what I've learnt.'

"LAE is the way!!!"

'I flew out from Hong Kong to take this course and it was worth it.

The course instructors combined, taught us everything that we needed to know to become a good live sound engineer and we were able to put into practice everyday and because the course is held at The Scala - a live venue, we were able to experience first hand what happens in a live show.

George, the course director, Yannis (instructor) and the other sound engineers were always helpful and were never too busy to answer any questions. They were in my opinion fantastic!

We didn't just learn the technical side but we also learnt about how to work with different people in the industry and to maintain a good attitude and to be teachable.

I had so much fun on this course and we had many laughs with everyone. The hands on experience was invaluable. However, if you're going to take this course you've got to put in the time and effort to get the most out of it.

I'm now a full-time live sound engineer in Hong Kong.

LAE rocks!!!'

"George's teachings were invaluable in every aspect"

'I was offered my first job as a sound engineer on the last day of my course, back in 2004. I've been working full-time in the profession I love. George's teachings were invaluable in every aspect and every time I receive a compliment I thank him for making this course so special.'
